Somewhere in the Barossa, one month ago, two best friends married each other not far from home.
When Stacey contacted me originally she told me Ryan was out harvesting the fields. I didn’t quite take it literally but I should have because he was. Ryan a farmer and Stacey a teacher live out in our beautiful Barossa Valley and married at the incredible Chateau Tanunda. Why do I mention Ryan harvesting the fields? Well because you don’t get much more ‘salt of the earth’ people than Stacey and Ryan. Their wedding was beautifully humble, elegant and focused on family and friends. With the charismatic Chateau Tanunda as a backdrop, Stacey and Ryan married on the lawns and we spent the afternoon adventuring around the picturesque grounds for portraits.
This was one of those beautiful days that spending time with Stacey and Ryan felt more like spending time with friends and I couldn’t feel more honoured to have been given the opportunity to archive their special day…
Stacey and Ryan, thank you. Thank you from my heart to yours for having me along. Your day was incredible.
A big huzzah to Jordan from FSR MediaHouse for watching my back and creating some moving pixels too!
That’s enough from me however, it’s the story below that you’re here for…
Music by the Paper Kites.
